The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina has collected over a million pounds of disaster relief and has already distributed over 70% of that to 22 counties.

Second Harvest Food Bank also distributing over 700,000 pounds of supply, and both are in need.

Both Second Harvest and Food Bank are in need of supplies like cleaning products, diapers, and hygiene items, and tell us cash donations would help the most in restocking shelves with food.

As of Tuesday night, there are still 446 people living in shelters, and while the need is still great, the food banks said it's help from all of you that has kept them going so far.
