I-440 at Western Blvd reopens after separate issues

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Westbound lanes of I-440 at Western Boulevard reopened after an issue with the pavement had to be repaired.

The lanes reopened a little after 8 p.m.

Earlier Tuesday, the lanes were closed by an unrelated incident, a truck accident Tuesday afternoon.

Two cars were also involved in the accident.

Eastbound lanes were not affected.

So far no word on any injuries or what caused the accident.
