Severe accident shuts down Interstate 85 North in Orange County

HILLSBOROUGH (WTVD) -- An accident shut down Interstate 85 North in Orange County near Hillsborough Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at mile marker 158.

Traffic was closed north of exit 157, Buckhorn Road, due to the accident.

The accident scene was cleared by 11:20 a.m. but traffic was congested until 12 p.m.
