Accident causes heavy congestion on I-40 E near 15/501

Multiple lanes on I-40 east near Chapel Hill were closed near the 15/501 exit due to an accident on Friday afternoon.

All lanes have since reopened.

Chopper 11 HD captured footage of a flipped over pickup truck. There has been no word on injuries.
