FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- It was a big weekend for J. Cole and his fans.
Saturday night the popular hip-hop artist performed at the Crown Complex, closing out his Forest Hills Drive tour. And two of his famous friends surprised fans and joined him on stage.
Fayetteville fans went crazy when J. Cole brought out Jay-Z and Drake.
J. Cole and his family moved to Fayetteville when he was only 8 months old.
The highly anticipated, sold-out show for around 8,000 people started at 6:30 p.m.
Officials warned people in the area of heavy traffic delays with parking lots opening at 4 p.m.
In the morning there was a back-to-school giveaway in the north VIP lot of the Crown Complex which started at 11 a.m.
