JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A tractor trailer fire shut down part of Interstate 95 in Johnston County early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 2 a.m. near exit 98, at the Pine Level-Selma Road exit.
The incident forced authorities to close the southbound lanes for several hours. Traffic had to be diverted through a rest area.
It is unclear what caused the blaze and if anyone was injured.
