Texas woman's long nails nearing world record

HOUSTON, Texas -- A retired salon owner in Houston is trying to "nail" a new world record.

Yani Williams refuses to cut her fingernails - which are now 26 inches long.

She says she started growing them back when President Bill Clinton took office 23 years ago.

She says the stunt is partly to send a message to her grandchildren, that being different is okay, and bullying is not.

Williams also keeps her toe nails long too.
