Man who allegedly stole lottery tickets from Zebulon gas station turns himself in

ZEBULON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police said the man who allegedly stole lottery tickets from a Zebulon gas station has turned himself in.

The incident happened at the Murphy Express at 801 East Gannon Avenue around 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said Zebulon resident Tommy Ashworth turned himself in.

He was cited for misdemeanor larceny.
