NEW YORK -- Meghan Trainor is canceling the rest of her North American tour including her stop in Raleigh because of a vocal cord hemorrhage, and she plans to undergo surgery.
The singer wrote on Instagram on Tuesday that she also has bronchitis and she's "been coughing a lot and that pushed it over the edge."
She wrote to fans: "I am devastated, scared, and so sorry."
Trainor canceled shows last month because of her damaged vocal cords. Her MTrain Tour was expected to play through September.
She planned to have a show at The Ritz in Raleigh August 18.
She wrote that she's "determined to do what it takes to get better and come back around stronger than ever."
The 21-year-old's hits include "All About That Bass," ''Lips Are Movin'" and "Dear Future Husband."
