2 killed after car hits tree in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Two people were killed when a car struck a tree on Millbrook Road in Raleigh overnight.

Raleigh police said a car traveling west on Millbrook Road at a high speed left the road and hit a tree past North Hills Drive.

The car then caught fire, according to a wreck report.

Both people in the car died at the scene, according to police.
