Body found near location kayaker went missing in Jordan Lake

JORDAN LAKE, NC (WTVD) -- Officials say a body has been recovered near the area where a kayaker went missing in Jordan Lake Thursday.

The person has not yet been identified.

Emergency workers have been searching for 69-year-old Tommie Columbus Justice Jr. of Cary since his kayak was found floating upside down Thursday afternoon about 400 yards offshore from the Farrington Point Boat Ramp.
