Boyfriend of missing teacher arrested near Chicago on outstanding warrant

CHICAGO (WTVD) -- The boyfriend of a missing teacher with ties to the Triangle is now in custody.

Angelo Smith was arrested near Chicago Thursday afternoon. He was wanted on a warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Sources tell WSOC-TV in Charlotte that the charge involves Bianca Tanner's 3-year-old son.

Police are investigating Tanner's two week disappearance as a homicide.

Tanner went to school in Wake County.
