Veterans Day is Wednesday and many businesses are honoring veterans, active duty military, and in some cases military spouses with freebies. Many of the deals require proof of service and are subject to participation, so, it is recommended to call and verify the policy for your location.
Former and current military members can start the day with a free breakfast at Bob Evans with their choice of a few meals.
IHOP is also offering free red, white, and blue pancakes to vets and active duty personnel from 7am-7pm.
Dennys is also offering a free Grand Slam Breakfast from 5am-noon.
Starbucks is honoring active duty, veterans, and military spouses on Veterans Day with a free tall coffee. Starbucks is also donating $5 dollars to the USO Transition 360 Alliance for each Veterans Day gift card sold through Nov. 11.
Chili's and some Chick-Fil-A locations, as well as, On The Border are all offering military vets a menu item all day.
Fox and Hound is giving a free meal up to $10 dollars.
Friendly's is offering a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Red Robin is giving a free Red's Tavern double burger and bottomless steak fries for veterans and current service members.
Sheetz is offering a free lunch and in some cases a free car wash while Bonefish Grill will honor vets with a free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer.
Golden Corral will host a Military Appreciation Dinner from 5pm-9pm for any person who has ever served in the US Military.
Menchie's is handing offering vets and current service members a free 6 ounce frozen yogurt.
Shuckers Oyster Bar and Grill is offering complimentary entrees (up to $20 value) to any military veterans who present an ID on Veterans Day.
