Crews battle basement fire in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Red Cross is helping two people in Durham after a Friday night house fire.

It happened on Mossdale Avenue off of University Drive, according to authorities.

Crews said the fire started in the basement and was contained there, but there was smoke damage to the upper two levels.

No injuries were reported.
