Man charged in Moore County murder

WEST END, N.C. (WTVD) -- A suspect is now in custody and charged in the murder of a Moore County man Sunday morning.

Authorities arrested 37-year-old Michael Ryner.

They said the incident started when the sheriff's office responded to a reported assault at Ryner's home in the 100 block of Cloverwood Lane in West End just before 11 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they discovered 32-year-old Anthony Harrison had been taken to Moore Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Ryner is being held without bond in the Moore County Detention Center.
