More than two dozen drivers slid off the roads during morning rush hour Monday.

SPRING SNOW CAUSES A SLIPPERY COMMUTE FOR DRIVERS IN MAINE

A spring storm dumped 10 inches of snow on parts of Maine. Plows roamed the streets continuously depositing salt and sand on the streets for better traction, but it didn't quite solve all the travel worries. More than two dozen drivers slid off the roads during morning rush hour Monday.

CHERRY BLOSSOM TREES BLOOM DESPITE LATEST COLD SNAP

Despite latest cold snap, folks in the nation's capital are seeing blooms. Spring has arrived and the famous cherry blossoms are beginning to bud and bloom. People flock to D.C. to see the trees every year. This year, the National Park Service says the temperatures should stay above freezing in the coming weeks, allowing blooming to stay on schedule.
