2 killed in head-on collision in Moore County

FOXFIRE, NC (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol says a man and a woman were killed Monday morning in a head-on collision just outside Foxfire.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. on Jackson Springs Road - west of Aberdeen.

Troopers said a car driven by a man crossed the centerline and hit a car driven by a woman. Both drivers were dead at the scene. There were no passengers in either car.

No names were released.
