Hoke County deputies make arrest in 2015 ATV, gun theft

A Robeson County man was charged March 2 in connection with a breaking and entering case from October, the Hoke County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.



Andrew William Chavis was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon stemming from the incident, which took place Oct. 30 in the 1600 block of McGougan Road in Lumber Bridge.



Chavis allegedly stole firearms and an ATV. He is being held on $50,000 secured bond.
