WAKE FOREST, NC (WTVD) -- The Wake Forest Police Department says no children were hurt in a 3-vehicle crash involving a Wake County school bus at the intersection of Rogers Road and Marshall Farm Street Thursday morning.

Pictures from the scene showed the bus off the road and into some trees.

The bus ran off the road after the crash.

Heritage Elementary School and Heritage Middle School students were on board. Passengers in other vehicles involved had minor injuries.

Another bus was called to pick up the students.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
