HICKORY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man was arrested in West Virginia for reportedly making more than 400 bomb threats over the past few months in North Carolina, WSOC reports.
Police officers and the FBI arrested Cody Startt, 27, in Motoaka, West Virginia on Thursday for the threats made in Burke and Caldwell counties.
Startt is being held with no bond and is awaiting extradition to Catawba County.
According to police, they have received more than 400 bomb threats since May 21. Police responded to more than 100 threats last weekend alone.
Law enforcement agencies are working to determine the exact charges Startt may face and whether he will be prosecuted in state or federal court.
