GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Goldsboro police are searching for clues after a 19-year-old woman was shot and killed Friday afternoon.
Police said they received a call just after 1 p.m. that someone had been shot and was being taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The victim, Atiya Maddox, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police said the shooting reportedly happened near the intersection of Olivia Lane and Slaughter Street.
No arrests have been made.
