Yankee Candle issues recall for certain products
Yankee Candle has issued a recall of its Luminous Collection fragrance candles.
When the candle is lit, the glass jar can crack, posing a laceration hazard.
The company has received 16 reports of the glass jar cracking. About 31,000 units were sold in the United States.
No injuries have been reported.
The square glass candles contain a fragrant wax with three wicks. The item number is printed on the bottom of glass candle jar. The recalled candles are approximately 4 inches wide by 5 inches high.
The affected candles were sold exclusively at Yankee Candle stores nationwide and online from September through November for about $35.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and contact Yankee Candle to receive a full refund.
