Governor McCrory spoofs Matthew McConaughey in video

YouTube video mimics Lincoln car commercial starring actor.

North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory is proving that several years in the rough and tumble of Raleigh politics has not chased away his sense of humor.

A YouTube video posted by the Charlotte Squawks, a show that pokes fun at North Carolina politics, features McCrory spoofing Lincoln car commercials featuring actor Matthew McConaughey.

"Squawks used to ask me to do idiotic and dumb things to open their show. I told them I'm not doing it anymore. I'm too busy for that. Too important for that," McCrory says in the video.

The video ends with Charlotte talk show host Mike Collins in the backseat pretending to be McCrory's passenger in the ride-sharing service Uber.

McCrory just signed a bill that regulates such services.
