Car slams into Wendy's sign in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A car suffered heavy damage in Raleigh Monday evening when it slammed into a sign in front of a Wendy's restaurant at Western Boulevard near Gorman Street.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
