RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man who had warrants out for sex offenses was arrested Friday afternoon after Raleigh police officer spotted him downtown.

The officer called for assistance and the suspect was captured.

Police capture a man wanted on sex crimes warrants in downtown Raleigh on Friday.

The suspect, has been identified as Brandon Quentin Barbour, 25, of the 1100 block of S. Bloodworth Street in Raleigh. He was detained on Fayetteville Street after a short scuffle. The man sustained some minor scrapes during the arrest.

He is wanted on charges of assault on a female, indecent exposure and sexual battery.

The suspect will be booked at the Wake County Detention Center.
