LEE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities responded to a second serious accident in Lee County on Sunday.
It happened on Highway 42 around 6 p.m. Our crew spoke to troopers on the scene, who said a Honda Accord crossed the center line, causing a Ford Explorer and a RV to swerve.
Those vehicles were left resting in a ditch.
Firefighters had to pull the driver of the Accord out of the car. That driver was rushed to the hospital.
Everyone in the Explorer was also taken to the hospital.
Two people died in a separate Lee County crash earlier in the weekend. Click here to read more.
