FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- Police in Fayetteville are looking for a man who offered a woman a ride in his car Monday morning and then sexually assaulted her.
It happened around 8:00 a.m. in the area of Brinkley Street and Sewell Street.
Once the woman was in his car, the man showed her a handgun and made her take off her clothes.
The suspect is a black male, 38-45 years old, 5'4"-5'6" tall, solid build, with low cut hair and a goatee. The victim stated the suspect had short fat fingers, straight teeth, and a big gold nugget earring in his left ear. The victim stated the suspect had a cross tattoo on top of his left bicep and a paragraph of words tattooed on his left forearm. She was unsure what the words stated. On his right forearm area, there was a spiral tattoo of words wrapped around the arm, and the victim could not make out what these words stated either. The suspect was reported to be wearing a green and orange striped shirt with cream color shorts and white and grey Air Jordan shoes. The suspect told the victim he was from Georgia.
The suspect was driving the vehicle in the above photo. The victim believed the vehicle to be a dark blue Toyota. The victim stated the vehicle has a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror along with white air fresheners, the front right tire is a spare, and there is a kid's booster seat in the back left seat that is black and pink with either daisies or butterflies on it. The victim also stated the interior of the car is black.
