Pedestrian hit by SUV in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit Saturday evening in Durham.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. along W Club Boulevard and Watts Street.

Police said it happened at a bus stop. A man ran across the street from the mall to catch the bus, but changed his mind. When he turned around, authorities say he was hit by the vehicle.

He suffered non-life threatening injuries, police say.

So far no charges have been filed.
