1 killed in Dunn crash along Dorman Road, troopers say
DUNN, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash outside the city of Dunn.
A North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper came upon the crash on Dorman Road between Arrowhead Road and Middle Road while on patrol.
The trooper began life-saving efforts and called for Dunn Emergency Services. When crews arrived, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say one driver was taken to Betsy Johnson Hospital for treatment. Other people involved were evaluated by EMS and released.
Dorman Road was closed for more than two hours as crews responded to the crash.
Charges are pending against the driver accused of rear-ending the other vehicle. Troopers say they will consult with the Harnett County District Attorney's Office on possible charges.
