
DAVIDSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A person in North Carolina is $2 million richer after matching all five white balls in Friday's Mega Millions drawing.
The ticket was purchased in Davidson at the Harris Teeter at 431 Peninsula Drive.
The winner matched the numbers on all five white balls to win $1 million, which doubled with the lottery's new built-in multiplier.
The $2 million prize ranked as the largest won nationally in Friday's drawing, according to the NC Education Lottery.
The jackpot for Tuesday's drawing will be $253 million as an annuity, or $113.8 million cash.
