
ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A person in Roanoke Rapids won Wednesday's Powerball jackpot of $209.3 million.
The ticket was purchased at West 10th Mart on West 10th Street. The winner can choose between an annuity of $209.3 million paid over 29 years or a lump sum of $95.3 million and has 180 days to claim the prize.
This is North Carolina's sixth Powerball jackpot win and the eighth time a state player has won either a Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot.
