Bond set at $2M for tow truck driver in deadly Raleigh hit-and-run

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A bond was set Monday for the tow-truck driver charged in a deadly hit-and-run in Raleigh.

Allan Guerrero, 39, made a first court appearance and was ordered held on a $2 million bond.

He was charged with felony death by vehicle, driving under the influence and several other charges.

Several lanes of Capital Boulevard were shut down as investigators worked to process the crash scene.

Raleigh Police said he ran a red light on Friday at Capital Boulevard and Trawick Road, hitting two motorcycles and a car.

One of the motorcyclists, 35-year-old Chandler Hodge, was killed.

Three other people were seriously hurt.

Arrest warrants said Guerrero was previously convicted of DWI in May of last year.

He's due back in court on Aug. 10.
