2 injured in Raleigh, 2 facing charges: police

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two arrests were made in connection with a shooting that happened early Sunday morning outside a Raleigh gas station.

Gabriel Hester, 20, faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, four counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and discharging a firearm within city limits. Kemarcus Bryant, 24, faces the same charges, along with possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:00 a.m. outside the Speedway in the 17000 block of Trawick Road. One of the victims called 911 for help from a location on New Bern Avenue.

Shortly after, another man who had been shot walked into WakeMed. Both men sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
