Ashanti Alert canceled for Raleigh woman after she's found safe

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- An Ashanti Alert has been canceled for a woman in Raleigh after she was found safe.

The alert was issued by Raleigh Police just before 4 a.m. Saturday.

The alert was canceled at 2:37 p.m. after reports she had been found unharmed in Tennessee, RPD said.

Raleigh police had reported that the 30-year-old woman may have been abducted from an apartment on Windy Hill Drive.
