Cornerstone Tavern in downtown Raleigh closing after 13 years

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cornerstone Tavern located on Glenwood Avenue in downtown Raleigh has announced they will be closing their doors after 13 years.

According to a social media post, the space will come under new management and a new concept will be coming soon.

"We're deeply thankful to everyone who made Cornerstone a part of Raleigh's story. To our regulars, our staff who became family, and everyone who brought this place to life, thank you," the post reads in part.

This upcoming weekend will be the last time the bar will be open.
