KNIGHTDALE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A deadly shooting along Knightdale Boulevard on Saturday morning appeared to have taken place after a road-rage incident, according to nearby businesses.
The shooting left 39-year-old Corey Hansen dead. The Wake County Sheriff's Office said it has identified the shooting suspect, but did not release a name, and no arrest has been made.
It happened on a busy stretch of Knightdale Boulevard at Old Milburnie Road around 8:50 a.m.
Businesses nearby said it appeared to begin with road rage. A witness shared a video that showed two men fighting on the median, with one of them holding a gun, and the other one being pushed to the ground.

Garrison Snyder, assistant manager at The Hemp Store, said it's not uncommon to see crashes or road rage, but not to the extent that it turns deadly as Saturday's episode did.
"I think that before, you know, maybe at a point where people would have just, hey, the worst, maybe you would exchange words or have a, you know, there'd be a physical fight, but now these days it just seems like people are looking for an excuse to pull a gun out on you," Snyder said. "And so, you never know just what you're dealing with, and it's just better just to play it safe."
The sheriff's office said it believes this was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the community.
