Goldsboro man in critical condition after getting shot several times

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man is dead after getting shot several times Saturday morning in Goldsboro.

Around 10:30 p.m., the police department was called to the area of 600 Sherard Ct. Officers found a man suffering with several gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as Da'Shaun Tyree Webb, 29, of Goldsboro, was taken to UNC Health Wayne, then taken to ECU Health Medical Center. Authorities confirmed he is in critical condition.

This is an ongoing investigation.
