Katherine Christian becomes new deputy chief in Garner Police Department

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- It is the first day on the job for Garner's new deputy police chief.

Katherine Christian is stepping into the role after spending 18 years at Cary Police Department.

She was most recently a captain and south district commander.
