
WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this month that left a juvenile dead, the Wake County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday night.
Tra'von McArthur, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder, conspire to sell a schedule VI controlled substance, and conspire to deliver a schedule VI controlled substance.
Another man, Devonte Gary, 32, was charged with conspire to sell a schedule VI controlled substance and conspire to deliver a schedule VI controlled substance. He turned himself in to the Nash County Detention Facility on Monday.
The shooting happened July 9 in the 6100 block of Knightdale Boulevard near Hodge Road.
A juvenile who was shot died the next day from his injuries, the sheriff's office said.
