Man hit, killed by train near Hillsborough Street in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man was struck and killed by a train Friday morning in Raleigh.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Hillsborough Street and Oakdale Drive.

Officials later cleared the train from the scene.

Raleigh police confirmed to ABC11 that the death has been ruled a suicide.
