Man killed in early morning shooting in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person is dead following a shooting early Sunday morning in Durham.

According to police, officers responded to calls about a shooting on South Hoover Road just before 4 a.m. When officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The man's identity has not been released.

Police have released any other details or arrests.
