Morrisville Police respond after call of shots fired

Morrisville Police responded to a call of shots fired on Saturday at Hildebran Lane.

There is no known threat to the public, police said. Cary Police also responded to the scene.

Officers are actively investigating. The street is blocked off.

A pair of what appeared to be sandals sat on a sidewalk behind crime-scene tape as more than a dozen police officers investigated. Police focused their attention on the space between two homes.

Police have not said what time the call came in nor whether anyone was injured.
