North Carolina trainer and Belgian Sheepdog win 'Best in Show' at National Dog Show

Dog trainer Daniel Martin, who is from Princeton, North Carolina, and his Belgian Sheepdog, Soleil, won the top prize at this year's National Dog Show in Philadelphia.

Soleil, a 6-year-old dog with just over a year of competition experience, beat out stiff competition to win "Best in Show" during the annual event held on November 15 and 16. Her win is considered an upset.

The victory earned Soleil $2,000, a Purina Pro Plan embroidered chair, a Yeti dog bowl, and bragging rights for the next year.
