Police: Victim hospitalized after shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A person was shot early Sunday in Raleigh, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at 12:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of Walnut Creek Parkway. When they arrived, they found a person suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

No suspect has been identified. Detectives are investigating.
