
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that injured two bystanders Saturday night in the Brier Creek area near Target and the Regal Brier Creek movie theater.
Police said officers responded to reports of a fight around 10:27 p.m. Shortly after arriving, officers heard gunshots.
Investigators say the incident involved teenagers.
Police said two adult bystanders who were not involved in the incident were hurt during the shooting. One person was struck by gunfire, while another was injured by flying glass after a bullet shattered a window.

Both victims are expected to recover, according to police.
Officers have taken a teenager into custody, but investigators believe additional suspects may have been involved.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
Shortly before the shooting, a fire erupted in the Brier Creek area near the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport hotel. The fire was extinguished, and Raleigh firefighters said there was no property damage or reported injuries. The cause has not been released.

The incidents occurred after the fireworks show at Brier Creek.
