Crash in Garner sends 4 to hospital; 2 in critical condition

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- A late-night rollover crash on Jones Sausage Road left four people injured Thursday, according to Garner police.

Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 10:24 p.m. on March 6. When they arrived, they found that the vehicle had overturned, injuring all four occupants.

Authorities said all four people were taken to WakeMed Raleigh for treatment. Two were reported to be in critical condition, while the other two suffered injuries believed to be less life-threatening.

Police cited the driver for Driving While Impaired and for consuming alcohol while under the age of 21.

The crash remains under investigation.
