Wake Forest police chase ends in crash in Durham
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A crash in Durham on Wednesday night began with a police chase in Wake Forest.
An ABC11 eyewitness said he saw the chase in Durham.
The chase ended on Holloway Street, where a Wake Forest Police SUV had front-end damage.
The other vehicle, a silver Toyota Highlander, sustained extensive driver's side damage. The airbag was deployed, and the driver's side door was ripped off.

Durham Police told ABC11 that the pursuit began 20 miles away by Wake Forest Police but did not give any details about why the chase was initiated.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is handling the crash investigation.
ABC11 reached out to state troopers and Wake Forest Police but has not yet heard back from either agency.
