RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Powerball officials say one winning ticket for Saturday night's huge jackpot was sold in Tennessee, a ticket worth $2 million was sold in North Carolina.
The winning numbers drawn were 17, 19, 21, 37, 44, and the Powerball was 16. The jackpot was initially $403 million but increased to $421 million due to late ticket-buying.
North Carolina Education Lottery officials said Monday the $2M ticket was sold in Brunswick County at the Minuteman Food Mart on Beach Drive in Calabash. The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, beating odds of 1 in 11.7 million.
The holder of the winning Tennessee ticket has not publicly come forward yet.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
