NEW YORK -- Presidential primaries were held by both parties in Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina on Tuesday. The GOP primary also took place on the Northern Mariana islands.

It's a big day on the Republican side as states can start awarding all of their delegates to the statewide winner. Only nine contests are winner-take-all, and three of them are on Tuesday: Florida, Ohio and the Northern Mariana islands.

Donald Trump won Florida, North Carolina and Illinois. Hillary Clinton both won in Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina. John Kasich won in his home state of Ohio.
