Publix opening in downtown Raleigh on Wednesday

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh shoppers have a new place to shop for groceries downtown.

Publix is opening its doors on West Peace Street -- right next to Capital Boulevard. The store opens Wednesday morning at 7.

The store is the second Publix location in Raleigh. Another Publix is on Leesville Road.

Publix is also scheduled to open a store in Clayton.
